POLITICS AS USUAL
The world we
want creates the world we hate:
The starving
millions in their simple huts,
The politicians
and their cloistered guts,
And all the
horrors we contemplate.
The rhetoric
spills over into bites
That pundits
and their cronies turn to cash.
For PNU
or ODMs to bash
While debating
in the lefts and rights.
There's money
in the books these people pen.
There's
millions in their marches organised.
And yet for all
the talk shows, none are wise,
And we believe
their words and tune them in.
One wonders
why we crave the talking heads
To give them
so much life though we were dead.
